WELCA

 

Here at Zion the Women of the ELCA (WELCA) are very committed in “gathering together and going out in the world”.

All women of Zion are members of WELCA it is a matter of choice to become involved. WELCA meets the second Sunday of the month at 10:00 a.m.

Throughout the year, WELCA holds several fund raisers; fall meatball supper, December cookie & craft sale, spring luncheon, and summer bakeless bake sale. Funds raised are used to further the ministry of WELCA such as church kitchen renovations, quilts for the high school graduates, and helping out our Zion brothers and sisters in Christ. WELCA reaches out to the community by donating Christmas gifts to the needy, supporting CASDA, Harbor House, and the local food shelf.
